Boston local talent, Richard Fraioli, can be heard djing at many of the local clubs every weekend either in Boston or providence. He lays down dynamic sets and makes for a fun night. In his off time he works hard in the studio and will be traveling down to Miami Music Week to feature some of his new works. Yes you read that right, Boston will be represented in Miami's Music week.
Richard Fraioli, helps out Cory Wires, with this Pop/top 40 track. Fraioli laid down the beats for the track and produced the final product. While it's not the typical type of EDM material we feature on EDMBoston, it's very reminiscent of Rhinna - we found love. Only it lakes the star power name.
Laidback luke has put out a preview of his new collaboration with Wynter Gordon and its called "Speak Up". What appears at first to be a calvin harris pop track launches into Luke's signature electro sound.
Roger Sanchez out with a new collaboration with Sidney Samson called "Flashing Lights". It is a great mix of Sanchez's and Sidney Samson's distinctive styles. While Roger carries a strong house/tech house sound, Signey is known for his electro sound. On "flashing lights" we hear sidneys strong electro synths and sanchez steady beat. It makes for a nice progressive hit!

It's amazing when an artist says "people should know that I can definitely push myself to go harder than I've already gone." When that person is Porter Robinson, you have to wonder what he has in store for us. "100% in the Bitch" and "Unison" are just some of our favorite Porter Tracks and there are so many more out there. Read into Porter's reflections on his humble self.
By David Marchese
(spin) In April, electro-house and dubsteb wunderkind Porter Robinson will be making his rock festival debut at Coachella, but the 19-year-old producer-DJ didn't initially understand the impressiveness of that achievement. "My iTunes is literally 99 percent dance music," says Robinson, speaking on the phone from his family home in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. "So I, embarrassingly, wasn't really initially aware of the festival." But, he adds, with a laugh, "People have given me a sense for the scope of Coachella. It's massive, right?"
Yes, it is. But given how quickly Robinson's career has taken off, he can be forgiven for losing sight of these things. Now signed to Skrillex's OWSLA records, Robinson played his first ever show in October 2010. His "Say My Name" hit No. 1 on Beatport that same year. Since then he's toured with Tiesto, released his Spitfire EP, and inked a deal to play a DJ residency this year at the luxurious Surrender and XS nightclubs in Las Vegas. "These opportunities are just ridiculous to me," he says. "It's preposterous." Before these events arose, Robinson explains, "I kind of expected that I'd be a medium-level producer who had 5, 000 followers on Twitter." But 53,000 followers later, "I'm in the position where every month something happens that, a month earlier, would've made me say, 'Bullshit.' "
Oh Boy, the Disco King and the Filter House Gods are coming together in what should be an interesting collaboration. If you listen to a lot of the original Daft punk samples they come from r&b and disco stuff. Imagine Daft punk working with an original disco artist and creating originals? Yummy!
News of the collaboration going official broke via Niles Rodgers blog, when he posted a picture seen below of him with the Daft Punk duo. While its truly hard to know it is Daft punk in the photo, you most likely wouldn't be able to identify them either without their crazy helmets.
The threesome got together monday at Niles New York apartment for an "informal jam session," says Niles on his blog.
"Things went so well we didn't want the day to end but I had to do a string of interviews for my upcoming Chic gigs in Australia. After doing my interviews I listened to my favorite Daft Punk records."
It appears that things went so well, there's already plan for the threesome to work out a full album. Rodgers went on to say, "We were having so much fun just in an informal setting that we decided to make it formal. And it’s very formal. It’s gonna be amazing."
Arnej heats things up with a rework of arty's remix of "That same song again". Kinda funny given the title. Arnej rework is a tech house/techno track that is mechanical and pulsating. The synths 4 minutes into the track are what we really like about the track the beat is really only for techy people.
