EDM Boston Video: Avicii Levels Official Music Video

Avicii rolls out the official video for levels here.  Tune in to here some more dadadadadada dadadada dadadadada LEVELS.

This levels video is freakin weird!

BUT I NEED MORE SOME MORE LEVELS.  You pretty much can't go anywere without hearing levels somewhere.  The radio had recarnated levels into a flo rida version.  Before you know it, walmart and target will be playing levels in stores.

However, i really can't get enough of the song.  Just an instant classic tune.  As someone on twitter said "the zombie nation of 2011"

KICK OUT THE EPIC MOTHERFUCKER (TEASER)

Dada life just look like an awesome time.  You know when you hang with these guys your gonna have a epic time.  And im not even talking about the EDM.  Anyways here's a preview of their new Electro house track. "Kick out the epic motherfucker".

They are fresh off their EDM remix of "Big bad wolf" and they haven't stopped.  We believe they are set to release a few more EDM tracks in the coming 2 months.

KORN: "WE WERE DUBSTEP BEFORE THERE WAS DUBSTEP"

(mixmag) A couple of weeks ago, nu metal relics, Korn were trying to claim "dubstep is the new metal". Now they're pulling the other leg.
The band who have worked with Skrillex on latest album 'The Path Of Totality' have claimed, "we were dubstep before there was dubstep."
Speaking to Billboard, frontman Jonathan Davis said: "Tempos at 140 with half-time drums, huge bassed-out riffs. We used to bring out 120 subwoofers and line them across the whole front of the stage, 60 subs per side. We were all about the bass."
While the band claims may be hard to stomach for many of the scenes purists, their manager, Peter Katsis has praised the enthusiasm of the genres fans saying, "Probably the most active young audience out there is the dubstep audience, just as Korn's was when they first came on the scene".
Frontman Jonathan Davis added, "It's really cool to see glow sticks at the show, to see dance music culture infiltrating and becoming one with the metal community".
Watch this space for the next killer Korn quote.

EDMBoston Interview: Thanksgiving with Chuckie

(Bassdownload) "This weekend we all celebrated Turkey Day and found ourselves thankful for one thing or another. I would say I am thankful for the talent-packed weekend Pacha gifted to New York City. Erick Morillo & Danny Teneglia tore up Thanksgiving Eve and AN21 & Max Vangeli killed it the day after Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving Night, however, belonged to DJ Chuckie and Nervo.
This night I was lucky enough to interview the leader of the party people, king of the Dirty Dutch, the man himself,Chuckie. As I walked into the lobby of his hotel, I passed the Nervo twins, who were on their way to get their set started at Pacha. I took the elevator up all the way to the suites and knocked on Chuckies door. As I walk in, I see the DJ on his laptop in the zone, preparing his set for the night. I sit down on his couch, next to a window with a view of the New York skyline. Before we start the interview, Chuckie says ‘This is what I’m doing tonight!’, hits a button on his laptop and throws his hands in the air. A Dirty Dutch mix of Notorious B.I.G’s ‘Where Brooklyn At’ comes blaring out of his speakers. I knew he was ready to do some special for New York, and he did.

The night was packed with Dirty Dutch anthems and radio friendly remixes. Chuckie knows how to put on a party. The dance floor was jumping the whole time and the booth was as animated as its ever been. At one point, Chuckie introduces guests AN21 & Max Vangeli who stopped by just to hang out in the booth. The night ended in recklessness as ‘What Happens In Vegas’ comes on, Chuckie jumps in the crowd and crowd surfs on top of his biggest fans.

EDMBoston concerts: Deadmau5 - Nokia Lumia Live. Millbank tower

If you were unlucky like us, your live stream of Deadmau5 crashed yesterday.  The upside was the show was a measly 30 minutes so you didn't miss much.  The downside was you missed 30 minutes of mau5 live.  Take a look here to see what you missed.  The building video is pretty amazing.  Grate job on the 3d rendering Mau5 team!

EDMBoston: Kaskade vs. Dada Life - Dynasty Noise (Kaskade Mash Up) [FREE Download]

Nice EDM mashup released by kaskade yesterday.  It features subtle changes and maintains the integrity of the original Dada life electro house track.  We really like the vocals added on to the track.

Laidback Luke and Sander van Doorn - Who's Wearing The Cap (A-Trak Remix)

EDM Boston: Video: Bingo Players - Mode

Forgot your caffeine this morning? Forget it and listen to this EDM tune! It goes hard and is made to get the dance floor to explode. Massive drop.
