Knife Party Releases Exclusive Mixmag Mix

Knife Party, the British/Australian electro-dub duo have released a 33 minute mix entitled 'Clever Title Like Deadmau5 Would Use' Mix, exclusive to Mixmag featuring some of their classic songs along with new remixes and a hint of what they might be producing in the future. Definitely turn the volume up to 11 on this one.

Moore - Party Hard

One of the young producers to look out for in the electro scene is named Moore. After having a #36 track on Beatport's Hype Machine with his remix of Krewella's "Alive", Moore has released a new original production. With this track, "Party Hard", his rather basic melody drops into a heavy bass line that doesn't let up. A banger I could see at a club or even at festivals, keep your eyes open for Moore in the future.

Starsmith- Zeros || Electro Pop [FREE DOWNLOAD]

Starsmith, (Finlay Dow-Smith) is a British producer I've been following for a bit of time now. He is most noted for his official remixes of big pop names like Ellie Goulding, Cheryl Cole, Lady Gaga, and N.E.R.D. This Brit produced Goulding's #1 album Lights with her and also worked on singles with other artists. He has produced a minimix for BBC Radio 1's own Annie Mac and says he has plans for more of his own original tracks.

Today we feature one of Starsmith's own creations: an electro song called "Zero" driven by a dubby bassline and synths that deserve a place in Back To The Future. This song reminds us of David Guetta and Afrojack's song "Lunar" off Guetta's Nothing But The Beat album. Starsmith is very talented at bringing a song up and letting it drop into a trance-like rhythm, which many fans will appreciate. While there are no lyrics in this song, it displays the talent this up and coming producer has as a synth master is reminiscent of the early Eric Prydz days.

Even though he has no album plans, keep an eye open for Starsmith in the future. We'll be seeing him around, for sure.
