About Us

EDMBoston.com is Boston’s source for Electronic Dance Music. Each week EDMBoston will deliver real time EDM news, artist interviews, local show reviews, announcements, and podcasts that feature the latest and greatest in electronic music. The purpose of the website is to bring together EDM fans in Boston, New England, and the surrounding regions and provide the community with a resource that serves its needs. As the hub for EDM in Boston, EDMBoston.com looks forward to building the movement and gathering all our energetic followers at local events with top international talent. Stay tuned to our calendar for all kinds of events, including special EDMBoston events.

Through EDMBoston Artist interviews and show reviews, we focuses on providing raw artist coverage. That means we try to bring fans up close and personal with the artist. We edit at bare minimum to provide this unique experience. EDMBoston’s ability to offer this vantage point of performers, enhances what really happens at shows and in artists lives and we believe that is what the real fans enjoy most.
This not only benefits the artist but also the fans. Artists get to show their true selves and not what the media portrays and contorts. Fans on the other hand get to experience the artist unfiltered and fall in love all with them all over again.

We look forward to serving YOU the Best!

EDMBoston Interns:

Our Interns bring a passion to EDMBoston! They spend their time at EDMBoston working on writing contributions for the blog, in addition to taking photos and reviewing live events.  Some call it a job, others call it a dream.

Mike H. "My first real experience with EDM was a "thrown into the deep end" kind of situation, when my friend came home from EDC  as Vegas in 2011 and informed me we were going to go to Camp Bisco in New York. It took some effort to get work covered, but I finally did, and I will forever be grateful for it. Bisco absolutely blew me away, particularly performances by Skrillex, Wolfgang Gartner, Pretty Lights, and my personal favorite, Bassnectar. I've spent the following two years soaking up as much music as humanly possible. Although I was first mainly into dubstep, such as Bassnectar, Flux Pavilion, and Rusko, my tastes expanded towards house and trance, and I soon grew a love and appreciation for essentially all forms of electronic music. I'm currently an English major at UMASS Boston, so my ability to write goes hand-in-hand with my love for electronic music, which is what brought me to EDM Boston. Being able to enjoy the music I love and write about it has been incredibly fun for me, and I look forward to being able to get more involved in the Boston EDM community!"

EDMBoston Ambassadors:
Our Ambassadors bring an unparalleled passion to the EDM scene.  They go around at events and make sure everyone is enjoying the show to the fullest extent that they can.  Whether that means handing out free EDMBoston swag or being an incredible dance partner, they try to do  their best to make everyone feel included in the EDM Boston community.
