Nervo Signed As New Cover Girls!

The Blond Bombshells, Nervo, have taken their rightful path to the top of popcultures beauty mantel. Live and Mim, twin sisters and founding members of Nervo, have been signed by COVER GIRL. As former models, it's no surprise to see the signing. However, bringing an electronic act in to represent a mega brand in the US is just a sign of the times. It's not your parents or grand parents asking, "Who is this Avicii?" but soon enough it will be "Who is this Nervo?"

NERVO will make their public debut as COVERGIRLs on November 7th at a special Branding party in NYC. Of course the duo will be the featured headliners. However the girls musicwon't be the only thing featured that night. NERVO will be showcasing new nail art designs created using the covergirl brand’s launch of Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss collection.

“We’re both so excited to join COVERGIRL and be part of an iconic brand that shares our beliefs,” said Liv Nervo. “It’s been really important for us to stay true to ourselves, our style, and our musical choices throughout the years. Shared content will also include a range of DIY tips detailing how NERVO incorporates COVERGIRL products into their looks, from Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss to Clump Crusher by LashBlast Mascara and Outlast All-Day Lip Color.

For those of you not in the know, the sister tag-team that is NERVO has written hits for artists such as Ke$ha, Kylie Minogue, the Pussycat Dolls, and Jennifer Hudson. They also wrote the new single for our very own Nicole Scherzinger, titled “Try With Me,” due for release in the new year.

They’ve collaborated with David Guetta on his Grammy winning smash hit "When Love Takes Over" featuring Kelly Rowland, which charted at No. 1 in 11 countries across the globe. They also co-wrote a song with Guetta called "Night Of Your Life" featuring Jennifer Hudson. As DJs, they’ve toured with Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj on the Femme Fatale arena shows, and toured with Paul Oakenfold and Chuckie on the acclaimed 2010 Facelift tour!

On Sep. 6, they released their first single "We’re All No One" featuring Afrojack and Steve Aoki. This is NERVO’s first commercial release in which the sisters perform the vocals. The song also marks their departure from their underground dance floor sound into what they believe is the future of pop and electro-dance. We can’t wait to see them perform on stage!

Nervo-Army & their EDM Slut Omarion :EDMBoston New Tunes

We saw Omarion stick his head into the EDM scene in a video last week on youtube with Steve Aoki.  We were immediately stunned.  Dead hip-hop/R&B artists, EDM Star?? What gives?

Omarion lays down his R&B vocals over this new Nervo beat dubbed "Army". His voice is reminiscent of Chris Brown.  Nevertheless, I guess we should be happy that chris brown didn't get the gig.
