Swedish House Mafia Split "It was Time" Says Steve Angello

(Rollingstone) "On June 23rd, only six months after selling out New York City's Madison Square Garden, superstar DJ trio Swedish House Mafia announced their decision to retire from the road. "Today we want to share with you that the tour we are about to go on will be our last," read a message on the group's website. "We want to thank every single one of you who came on this journey. We came, we raved, we loved." The threesome, which consists of Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Axwell, will host a final hometown blowout in Stockholm on November 24^th and play their final U.S. gig this September at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas.

The short, blunt message, and a lack of any further explanation from the trio, left many Swedish House fans searching for answers. But as Angello now tells Rolling Stone, their decision was rooted in a need – and current inability – to evolve. "We just decided that we reached a point where we don't know what the next move would be," he explains. "We always like the challenge. And we don't like to repeat ourselves. We just felt like it was time."

David Guetta Caught Faking at Tomorrowlands???

David Guetta was making moves with his new record label and things seem to be going well, as the super star dj has been relatively quiet this summer and just been focusing on his music. However, this mixmag story popped up and appears to have David Guetta caught faking at tomorrowlands.

(Mixmag) Steve Angello was one of the first to be criticised for 'miming' his sets, as reported by Mixmag, and now chart-topping Frenchman David Guetta has been involved in a similar scenario.

Pictures emerged online today that allude to Guetta being caught in the act when DJing at this year's Tomorrowland Festival in Belgium.

The screenshot from his live set on YouTube appears to show David Guetta's mixer with all four volume faders down but music still playing out to the 80,000 strong crowd.

Although it cannot be certain what went on that night, the social networks have been set alight with the public outraged by what they see to be him 'faking' his DJ set.

Guetta has been making headlines recently with his outbursts towards his critics and this is sure to add to the pressure that the DJ is receiving from the public.

Winter Music Conference 2013 Dates Announced

We all know how these things work.  Massive Festival or Conferences that are going to take place so far in to the future no one is even thinking about them.  We aren't sure when they'll take place but everyone will certainly be there.  And then oh say 8 months before the event, they announce the dates.  It's like an all out f you to the other events happening at the current time, and the future event is telling fans not to forget about them and to the current events that they are boss.

Deadmau5 Modeling Career to Launch

The vocal Joel Zimmerman, aka Deadmau5, has shown little slowing down since his announcement of taking a break last week.  The mau5 mentioned that he needed to unplug for a "wee bit" to get stuff done.  While we thought that ment, to finish the Deadmau5 New Album, "Album title goes here", it appears the young titan has other projects he's been working on such as launching a Deadmau5 modeling career.

(NME) Deadmau5 is to make his debut as a model in a new campaign for clothing line Y-O.

The dance producer, who announced full details of his sixth studio album '> album title goes here <' yesterday (August 9), has posed, complete with his mouse head on, as part of a new campaign from the makers of fashion company Gio Gio. 

As well as the DJ, Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightboy, Maverick Sabre and actor Stephen Graham will also star in the campaign, reports The Sun.

'> album title goes here <' is the follow-up to the dance producer's 2010 album '4x4=12'. It will be released on September 24 and features a total of 13 tracks. 

Among the tracks are 'Professional Griefers', which is a collaboration with My Chemical Romance's Gerard Way, 'Failbait', which features Cypress Hill and 'Telemiscommunications', which has vocals from Imogen Heap.
