People of the Night Release Date Pushed Back
If you were awaiting the People of the Night Album from AN21 and Max Vangeli you are going to have to wait just a little longer. The album release date has been pushed back a month to Sept 3. You can read there official press release below:
"Many of u have been asking, "why did you change release date for POTN from August 6th to Sept 3?". The answer's pretty simple, we wanted to finalize Bombs Over Capitals for you guys before the full album is dropped. It was important for us to include this final addition in People Of The Night, the album wouldn't be the same."

It has been a long time coming for "People of the Night". The track AN21 & Max Vangeli have been producing for over a year is finally hitting shelves. As the follow up to H8RS, the track also follows the course of Big Room Anthem. The Duo also had the help of Tiesto on the track. The three netted a great piece of House music from their efforts. Lover Lover's vocals kill it on this track! Not only do they match well to the beat but they are so emotional and captivating!

Why AN21 & Max Vangeli Are Touring Separately & Reflection On EDM
As I'm sure most of you know, Boston has/will see/seen AN21 and Max Vangeli come to town separately over the last month. While the duo has spent a significant time playing gigs mostly together before 2010 they both had very separate careers. In the video below AN21 explains that Max and him want to keep their partnership fun and interesting. Therefore, they have decided its best that they tour separately and the EDMBoston couldn't be more excited! These two artists have formed such a strong partnership because they both bring unique skills and taste to the table. Getting to see each act solo means you get to see the best in each artist.

Who is Max Vangeli - Biography by EDMBoston.com
Whether you've heard Max Vangeli's music or are unfamiliar with the artist, EDMBoston aims to bring both camps a Max Vangeli Biography of the artist career thus far; ahead of his Boston gig on Tuesday, May 1st at Bijou.
Born in Moldova, Eastern Europe, to a family of Doctors, Max found his path wasn't in the family profession. While studying economics in UC Santa Barbara, this decision became clear to him. He began focusing on producing beats during these years and learned to play instruments such as the guitar. As do most producers, Max made the transition to DJing to help promote his music.
His career as an original producer began to take traction in 2008. He produced 3 big hit songs, 'Crazed', 'iRock', and 'K.E.J.I.'. All three productions were based on house 4/4 beats and were closer sounding to european classic house tracks to anything that Max Vangeli produced as of late. The tracks didn't go unnoticed and Pete Tong's ears took to 'iRock', which premiered on his BBC radio show, The Essential Mix. on August 22, 2008.
Max continued grinding through gigs in 2009 and also remained focused on building his catalog of originals. First up for the new year was a collaboration with Digital Lab 'Aqua Kai'. It was a sexy house beat, that made you think of a Miami Pool Party.
Max Vangeli didn't stop with one hit in 09. He produced 3 more! 'Fender Bender' was anything but a car accident. The stroke of genius continued Max's success of developing hot House music, with tribal beats and sexy synths. Max Vangeli was now dabbling in a new progressive house sound that would help influence the overall direction of progressive house ove the next two years. Max's original beat 'Exit' produced with Digital Lab in 2009, continued this succession.
With Max Vangeli's new catalog, he was beginning to draw a lot of attention. He had grown as an artist, and his ability to make dynamic tracks was caught the eye of Big names in the EDM industry. The Big names that came knocking were the Swedish House Mafia and it made Max Vangeli massive in 2010. Steve Angello and Sebastian Angello both released Max Vangeli tracks on their labels, Size and Refune, respectively.
2010 is also when AN21 (Steve Angello's brother) and Max Vangeli connected to release their first collaboration tracks. The two instantly hit it off in the production room and made arguably one of the most beautiful 'Big Room" house tracks in 'Swedish Beauty'. Max Vangeli and AN21 went on to world premier 'Swedish Beauty' on Pete Tong's BBC Radio 1 show, where it would latter be named by Pete Tong as the coveted "Essential New Tune". With one of the greatest honors under AN21 and Max Vangeli's belt, they continued touring and producing.

AN21 REVIEW BIJOU BOSTON - PART 1
Last Tuesday was EDMBoston and Bijou’s first collaboration of Guest House Tuesday’s. That meant the EDMBoston team was officially on hand to bring together the EDM Boston Community to party at a Concert. It was a special night and we want to give a big shout out to everyone that came to the AN21 concert and said hello! It was an incredible experience hearing all the people that follow the blog and love what we do. While the blog seems fun, it takes an extraordinary amount of work. Hearing feedback is what keeps us driving to improve the website. But I digress from the festivities of the night.
The performer last Tuesday was famed Swede, AN21. The mastermind behind the hit tracks “The Island” and “Swedish Beauty”.
From the second AN21 walked in the green room, to the moment he played his last track, AN21 was meticulous about everything he did. His mix reflected this precision, no track was out of place in his set, much like every hair in his tight European cut.
When we sat down with him, he was ultra secretive of his new album, but fun loving to sway anyones ability to pull out what he had hiding under his sleeve. All we can say is after "People of the Night" was played live we should be in for a lot of good new things!
Last Tuesday at Bijou AN21 was able to build energy in the room, release it, and go deep with power vocals and melodic synths at ease. He orchestrated his set like a finely tuned orchestra. Only his orchestra was his cdjs and a raucous crowd looking to set aside their daily humdrum. While we’d like to say AN21 was perfect that night, he had trouble with his audio levels the first 3 tracks of his set. However, his tour manager worked with him to quickly resolve the problem. From there, it was no looking back. AN21 looped, cut, pitch faded, and mashed up live vocal cuts all throughout the night to keep the crowd energy up and everyone entertained.
