Tomorrowland 2012 Introduction

Tomorrowlands Sold Out! Breaking Record!
I hope you were wearing a seatbelt when you logged on to buy Tomorrowlands tickets because you would have had to be breaking the speed of sound in order to get your hands on tickets. That's because over 2 million people were in line, ready to purchase tickets last saturday. As a result tickets went in matter of minutes.
In order to prepare for the massive sale of tickets, ID&T, the producers of Tomorrowlands, took extra procautions after they had a server meltdown during the Belgian pre-sale two weeks ago. This required global servers in preparation for the main sale that took place on Saturday 7th April.
Early estimates from Tomorrowland’s official hosting partner indicate that a staggering 100 MILLION clicks took place in a matter of seconds. Due to the fact, another unavoidable crash of www.tomorrowland.be happened. Nevertheless, the ticketing page remained intact and ran smoothly due to the extra precautions.
The festival capacity of 180,000 including thousands that opted for the festival’s ‘Dreamville’ luxury camping option is now SOLD OUT, making this the fastest selling edition of Tomorrowland ever.
If you were unable to score tickets to Tomorrowland, they do have some good new ahead. Although we don't know exactly what that news is, it appears a live stream could be in the works. Stay tuned for news on that.

Tomorrowlands...Trouble In Ticket Paradise
The Belgian presale sold out with massive difficulties.
Saturday started the Belgian ticket sale of Tomorrowland 2012. Unfortunately it went less smoothly than expected, despite the months of preparation and extra precautions taken. As a result, fans were forced into a ticket drama frustration for our visitors, but also for the festival organization.
The official ticket sale started at 11:00 and 250,000 people signed up at the same time. An unforeseen high number of guests trying to login in at the same time, caused an interruption of the system of ID&T ticket provider Timoco. Everyone was forced to wait longer than expected in the online "waiting rooms". Throughout the day the waiting rooms remained filled and the servers had troubles handling all the requests. All measures were taken to sell in short notice the 40 % of tickets reserved exclusively for the Belgian market but id&t's ticket provider was clearly not prepared for such a high number of requests despite all guarantees asked for by the organization.
ID&T wishes to apologize to all visitors having to wait too long while ordering their ticket.. This day was specially organized for the Belgian guests, to ensure that they could buy a ticket but this has taken longer than expected. ID&T will request new guarantees from the ticket partner to ensure a faster and smoother ticket sale on the 7th of April.

We wish to inform you that TImoco had difficulties handling the request despite all measures taken. The organization of Tomorrowland did warned us about a possible massive online demand of tickets and asked us to provide us a service that could cope with this. We guaranteed this to ID&T but we did not succeed.

Tomorrowlands Lineup Update
Cassette was added to the lineup early this morning! This party is getting out of hand! July 27-29. Since January 1st, TomorrowLand is announcing almost every day a new artist attending TomorrowLand. At the moment, the line-up is composed of: David Guetta, Carl Cox, Avicii, Skrillex, Fatboy Slim, Calvin Harris, Chris Liebing, John Digweed, Nicky Romero…
and there's still more to come!
