Most music fans are familiar with the Grammy-winning, French electro-house duo, Daft Punk. Daft Punk consists of two French DJs, Guy-Manuel de Homen- Christo and Thomas Bangalter. This dominant duo has produced some of dance music's most well known house anthems, such as the classic "One More Time", having been a major part of the EDM scene since the early 90’s. By 2007, Daft Punk's shows were exclusive and legendary as they produced less music, and began to fall off the radar.
The electronic duo has yet to release any new music since they were featured in
the Tron: Legacy soundtrack in 2010, released by Walt Disney records. Since the
release of the soundtrack, Daft Punk has been laying low leaving fans wondering if their reign had come to an end. However, recently rumors of a new album
set to be released in the Spring of 2013 have exploded across the EDM community.
