Skrillex, Disney Join Forces for New Disney Film

skrillex
(mixmag) "Skrillex is taking a step back from dubstep to score soundtracks, one of which is for an upcoming Disney film.
He’ll be contributing some of the music for Wreck-It Ralph, an animated flick that follows the behind-the-scenes lives of arcade game characters.
The wob-wob master’s move to movies was announced last month, when it was revealed that he would be producing the soundtrack for Spring Breakers, a comedy starring James Franco and Selena Gomez. Skrillex’s side-project with Disney was made public recently at Comic-Con.
Fans shouldn’t hold out for cinema-shaking bass-laden movies though. After the first announcement Skrillex tweeted: “it’s more or less traditional scoring…don’t expect any dancefloor bangers.” Shame, we were up for some backseat raving.
Wreck-It Ralph is out in November this year and Spring Breakers is set to be released in early 2013."
