Badass is the answer. It would look/sound badass!
With all the attention on EDM right now, we believe this will be the next incarnation of live EDM shows in a few years. Eventually people will tire of watching someone spinning records on stage and crave more of a traditional live performance. This is America...everything gets changed, reformed, and remodel. Not for the sake of change but for the sake of hearing something new. EDM won't be any different. The evolution of the genre and sub genres will only create newer effects and enhance the artists ability to do more then they have ever been able to do. Think of what the roland did to electronic music in the 70s/80s will be the equivalent of what abelton did to EDM in 2010s or 's10s (whats the right way to even say that??)
Artists that can reincarnate their live sets into a performance will not only be able to easier entertain a more diverse crowd, but it will allow the Artists the ability to do improve remixes. Instead of being tied down to music on a flash drive the artists would have any sound available to them at a whim and everything else that comes along with having a live instrument.
Certainly an exciting possibility
