World Record for Longest DJ Set broken in Brisbane

How long do you think you could stand behind the decks and mix music?  The normal DJ gig lasts around 4 hours and an extended days worth of work clocks in at 8 hours.  However, it isn't unusual, for DJ's to attempt massive sets of 8 hours or more.  Ferry Corsten recently played for 8 hours to celebrate the 250th episode of Corsten's countdown.

However if you want to set the record for longest dj set you are going to have to play a hell of a lot longer then 8 hours.  After 152 sleepless hours, DJ Hertz of Brisbane Australia, has broken the record for the longest dj set in history by two hours.

So you ask how does DJ Hertz feel after the matter?

“By the time I broke it…I dunno how to explain it, because it was more about getting through it than anything”...“It was definitely a good moment, but yeah I wasn’t myself at the time."
