John Digweed Set to Invade Bijou in April

As if the Boston electronic dance music scene has not already cemented itself as one of the best in the country, our community will receive yet another boost with the legendary English DJ, John Digweed. He will be hitting the decks at Bijou Nightclub, Sunday, April 14. He's part of an already supercharged spring lineup of shows in and around Boston; Digweed will join heavy hitters such as Roger Sanchez, Laidback Luke, Martin Solveig (also at Bijou), and many more of the industry's biggest names.

Seen by many as a pioneer in the progressive house genre, the one-time DJMag #1 DJ has held residencies at clubs around the world, including his current spot at Sankey's Ibiza. Known for his powerfully constructed  sets, and eclectic mixes that seem to glide effortlessly across the sound spectrum, Digweed is sure to blow the socks off even the most hardcore house heads who turn out to see him. He's also one of the many DJs that has a frequent podcast.

Although many of us are starting to wonder how we could possibly fit into our schedules all the shows available this spring, this is by no means one to skip. With the expert sounds that Digweed has to offer, coupled with Bijou's stellar sound system and high-quality service, this is shaping up to be night to remember for Boston house fans.
