Misheard EDM Lyrics

By Kat S:

Partying with an EDM playlist blasting through the speakers turns a house party into a dance party in a heartbeat, but when the whole room is singing along a misheard lyric can ruin the vibes. Next time you’re belting out the chorus of these often misheard EDM lyrics, make sure to get them right!

Catch our misheard lyrics after the jump:

The chorus of the newest Calvin Harris and Florence + the Machine hit "Sweet Nothing" should be easy to guess, it's the title of the song. A lot of people are giving the song a sexier twist by singing "you're giving me sexy loving" instead of "giving such sweet nothing!"

I don't know if I'm alone in this one, but I had no idea what Swedish House Mafia was saying in "Don't You Worry Child." The lyric misheard should be sang as "don't you worry child, see heaven's got a plan for you," but for the longest time I was singing "Sierra's got a plan for you."

When I listened to Rusko's "Hold On" while reading the lyrics, I felt ridiculous with all the words I was singing wrong. The lyrics for a major section of the song are
"
Gotta know how to treat a lady.
You're the only one here." I've been singing "And then I had a dream about it, where no one came."

So, should I be embarrassed by my blatant disregard for the actual lyrics or have any of you sang the words just as ridiculously wrong?
