The Masked UZ is Back

The mysterious UZ is back at it again. Last week, UZ dropped his new “Balltrap Vol. 1” mix-tape, which is an interesting experiment bringing together both the worlds of trap and hip-hop.

UZ had the unique experience to bring his beats to the Red Bull studios and collaborate alongside several well known rappers to create a unique trap and hip hop mix-tape. This mix-tape contains songs with beats that  will rock your world, while also expressing the unique styles and flows of rappers such as Trinidad James and Casey Veggies. The collaborations worked out perfectly causing the mix-tape to contain some of the best hip-hop and trap songs I have heard to date. I am a huge fan of this new “trap-hop” style of music, bringing the best of both worlds together. It gives interesting beats by UZ a chance to expand and see what other creative minds can add. It not only sounds awesome, but also helps to expand the EDM culture to other music fans. UZ also was able to collaborate with EDM rising stars, Baauer and CRNKN, and the three of them together are a force to reckon with. The trap artist and rapper collaboration goes so well together, its almost as if it was meant to be. The beats hit hard while the style and flow of the words add another dimension.

Although this unique mix-tape has broadened the world of UZ, the man behind the mask is still a mystery. A great video was filmed while the mixture was being recorded, but UZ’s face is still blurred out leaving the mind to imagine who the masked man could be. His identity remains a mystery, but his music is a mystery no longer. This free mix-tape is exploding with downloads as the infamous UZ continues to rise to the top of ball-trap music.
