Knife Party - '100% No Modern Talking' EP [FREE download] || EDMBoston New Tunes
It's finally Monday...wait what? Ya it's monday but at least our friends Knife party have decided to start it off right. The electro dubstep Australian duo are giving away their new EP, 100% No Modern Talking, for free. All you have to do is "like" Knife Party on facebook and you get 5 new Knife Party tracks in your hand. Internet friends was recently featured on Avicii's podcast, Levels episode 3. Knife party has been making a lot of noise in the EDM scene. The duo consists of Gareth McGrillen and Rob Swine. Prior to Knife party, the duo are members of Pendulum. They entered the EDM scene earlier this year and have let their presence be heard. Literally. Swine is the vocalist on Deadmau5's Ghost n Stuff.
Their recent collaboration with Swedish House Mafia on "antidote" was the culmination of the crazy year they have had. These guys are going to own dubstep over the next couple of months. Everything they are producing hits so hard. For example, they turn the lame duck "save the world" into an EDM monster. Give 'er a listen

Deadmau5 Meets Metal
I love when artists do covers. For EDM you typically see covers done on the piano. However, Deadmau5's material just doesn't seem suited for a classical piano...does it?? This guy shredds out Deadmau5 - Some Chords metal style on his axe. Its incredible. You need to have mighty fast fingers to keep up with the layering going on in Some Chords.
