Weekend one of Ultra Music Festival has come and gone, just like it does every year. Last year was the debut of UMF's Live Stream, which allowed us to record and deliver you all of the Ultra 2012 sets to listen to and download even if you weren't there.

Hardwell at Ultra Music Festival 2013 Set

Hardwell took the stage on Saturday of Week 1 at Ultra Music Festival promising an "epic" set.  While these words are tossed around casually from your standard EDM artist, these words rarely leave Hardwell's lips.

Nevertheless, in Hardwell's back stage interview on Saturday with UMFTV, he said that he had 10 new songs to play for his weekend 1 Ultra Music Festival 2013 set.  He went on to say the 10 new tracks consisted of his own material and new tracks from his label.

With so much new material, one has to ask how do you fit it into a small mainstage act? Hardwell said that he has spent the past month working on and thinking about the set.  As you know Hardwell rarely plans out his sets. However, due to the nature of Ultra and the eyeballs watch, Hardwell said it's important to give Ultra everything you've got. So listen to Hardwell at Ultra music Festival 2013 set below becomes its absolutely ridiculously great Hardwell!

With that being said, we can't wait for Hardwell's return to Ocean Club this Summer cause last year was great!

Massive Accident on Ultra Main Stage!

On the eve of Ultra Music Festival's first weekend of EDM and partying, two of the event's workers are now in serious condition after the main stage partially collapsed onto them. The now broken section of the LED screen, nearly 7 feet high, now put Ultra organizers at the mercy of Miami authorities.

The Assiciated Press reports that the ultra main stage accident scene will be reviewed by several city officials on Friday, the first scheduled day of the festival. Once approved, the main stage will be finished and continue on as planned.

Festival organizers released the following statement after the accident:

"[Thursday, March 14] as preparations were being made for this weekend's Ultra Music Festival, a section of an LED screen fell and injured two workers. Fire Rescue was on site so there was a rapid response. Festival organizers are working with, and supporting, authorities as they investigate the details behind the accident."

Although the exact condition of the workers is still unknown, the accident brings to light the many dangers of organizing such an expansive event in a city locale. The two weekend event averaged nearly 55,000 people per day last year, overrunning the city of Miami.

Storys have broke that the Swedish House Mafia's custom LED screen was involved in the incident.
