The Ultra Music Festival Main Stage was massive and expansive in 2012 and certainly outpaced anything they had set up in the past. THe man that made all the visuals happen was Vello Virkhaus, the founder of VSquared Labs. He was was responsible for creating all the graphic visuals for the mainstage at Ultra 2012 except for a few artists like David Guetta and Tiesto.
Vello controlled all the visuals at Ultra's Main stage using various tools from computers to keyboard to an ipad. All of these tools help Vello change what is displayed on the LED screens on the Main Stage. In case you were wondering Vello has a background in art and technology. and started his own company to create visuals for stages and concerts after doing video post-production out of college.
